Our dedicated team of over two dozen skilled professionals has helped us achieve revenues exceeding $6 million. We have an expansive fabrication shop in Glen Burnie, MD, that spans over 25,000 square feet on over 5 acres, allowing us to meet various fabrication needs.

We specialize in the fabrication and erection of structural steel, stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals, adhering to AISC guidelines, NAAM standards, and local and international building codes. Additionally, we provide fabrication services for stainless steel and aluminum products, ensuring our clients a comprehensive suite of options.

Founder’s Background

Reedbird Steel was founded in 2011 by Stephen Hubbard, who brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the steel fabrication industry. Recognizing an opportunity to serve his community directly, Stephen set out to establish a company that prioritizes high-quality workmanship, exceptional service, and the development of lasting relationships with customers. His unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence have enabled him to advance through various levels of the industry.

Diverse Industry Experience
Throughout his career, Stephen has gained invaluable experience in oversight roles encompassing detailing, estimating, project management, and production management. Before launching Reedbird Steel, he held the position of Field Operations Manager at one of the leading fabrication firms on the East Coast, where he honed his managerial skills and industry knowledge.

A Tribute to Community
The name “Reedbird Steel” pays homage to Reedbird Avenue, the street where Stephen grew up in Southwest Baltimore, symbolizing his deep-rooted connection to the community he serves.
